For this project, I wanted to create a promotional yet educational poster about a social issue that I am passionate about. I decided to focus on environmentalism and Earth Day. I wanted to bring awareness to the existence of the holiday and subtly let people know some ways to make their daily routine more eco-friendly with small designs around the border of the poster. All of the graphics were made and compiled by me in Adobe Illustrator and Procreate. I wanted to use bright, but earthy colors to create an optimistic, light-hearted tone encouraging more people to be eco-conscious and aware of their impact on the planet. I decided to hand draw most of the graphics because I felt it would seem more natural and approachable, and I wanted the poster to have a bit of character and some "imperfections."
